Steve Douglas Skrivanie

Steve Douglas Skrivanie was born on December 5, 1958 in Stambaugh, MI and died on September 19, 2020 in Iron River, MI. He was the son of Alice (Beckman) Skrivanie and the late Anton Skrivanie. He lived with his parents, as well as several group homes. He was residing at the Iron River Care Center at the time of his death. Steve attended various educational and training programs. He also worked at TRICO. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Iron River. He was preceded in death by his father, Anton in August of 2017 and his sister, Julie Jacobson in July 2020. Steve is survived by his mother, Alice Skrivanie; brother, Richard (Sue) Skrivanie of Minneapolis, MN; sisters, Sandra (George) Lundwall of Stevensville, MT and Toni (Jeffrey) Stachowicz of Caspian, MI; many cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family. Steve was a gentle, always smiling person and will be greatly missed. He loved music and dancing in his own way. We believe God placed him on earth by an angel to love and please others.
