Steven D. LaRock, 62, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 30, 2026.
He was born April 14, 1964, in Stambaugh, MI, the beloved youngest son of Floyd and Miladore (Sensiba) LaRock. He attended the West Iron County schools and graduated with the class of 1983.
Steven worked for many years at Trico Opportunities in Kingsford, MI.
Steven was well known in the community for his gentle, joyful personality. He was always a generous friend to everyone.
Steven was a loyal Detroit Lions fan, liked country music and loved the Dukes of Hazzard TV series.
Steven is survived by his three brothers, Forest (Rose), Bill (Laura), and Jack (Cecilia). He will be greatly missed by his nephews, Brian, Jean-Daniel, and Damien LaRock, his nieces Donna Jean Nolan, Kim and Shelly LaRock, Kristy Sharkey, and many great nieces and nephews.
A private funeral service will be held.
