Tammy M. Keliin

Tammy M. Keliin, age 61, of Iron River, MI, passed away unexpectedly at her home Monday, August 26, 2024. She was born May 21, 1963, in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of William and Carol (Hall) Basto and was a lifelong resident. Tammy attended the West Iron County Schools. She married Brian Keliin on June 30, 1984, and the couple made their home in Iron River, MI. They celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary this past June. Tammy was a waitress for many years at Alice’s Supper Club. She was a member of St Agnes Catholic Church of Iron River, MI, The American Quarter Horse Association, and a former 4-H Leader. Tammy enjoyed attending horse shows, gardening, and painting. Tammy is survived by her husband, Brian of Iron River, MI; son, Brandon (Kim) Benson of Iron River, MI; stepdaughter, Jessica (Richard) Schram of Iron River, MI; parents, William and Carol Basto of Iron River, MI; sister, Lisa (Allan) Wickstrom of Iron River, MI; nephews, Bradley and Alexander Wickstrom of Iron River, MI; three grandchildren, Brittany, Sydney, and Bryant Schram; and one great-granddaughter, Lyla Schram.
