Teresa A. Pangrazzi, 84, of Iron River, MI passed away on August 31, 2026.
She was born on May 20, 1942, in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late Thomas and Annabelle (Raymond) Marcell. She attended the Iron River Schools.
Teresa married Gary Pangrazzi May 26, 1962, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Iron River. They celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary this year. Gary preceded her in death on August 14, 2026.
She was employed at local groceries as a meatcutter and in later years at Coleman Products. Teresa was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church of Iron River. She was an avid reader, reading a book a day set aside for her by her local librarian. Teresa enjoyed playing Bingo, taking care of her yard and was an expert markswoman. She was always so proud of her children and grandchildren and loved to spoil them.
Teresa is survived by her son, Gary “Buddy” and daughter-in-law, Sherry Pangrazzi of Iron River; daughter, Deann Pangrazzi and son-in-law, Michael Hebert of Gwinn, MI and Dr. Elizabeth “Lisa” Pangrazzi of Iron River, MI; grandchildren, Tina (Justin) Brey, Lacey (Brian) Smet, Libby Mundell, Leslie (fiancé Alex Bolish) Mundell, Samantha (Michael) Kemp, Nathan Rake, Capt. Andrea (Jonathan Yang) Rake, USAF, Emilie (Bryce Tabat) Rake, and Olivia (Josh Ranalli) Rake; great-grandchildren, Payton and Hayden Brey; siblings, Gerald Marcell of Milan, MI, Dennis Marcell of Ypsilanti, MI, Dean (Joan) Marcell of Shawano, WI, Gary Marcell of Iron River, Rose Marie (Randel) Heimerl of Amasa, MI, Thomas (Judy) Marcell of Iron River, Barbara Marcell of Caspian, Mary (William) Rivard of Caspian, James (Rebecca) Marcell of Caspian, MI; many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Steven and Russell Marcell and sisters, Carol Butler and Elizabeth “Betty” Falkner.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. A Liturgy of the Word service will be held at 11 a.m. with Deacon Terry Verville to officiate.
Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
