Theodore R. Youngberg, age 78 of Iron River, MI, died Thursday, June 25, 2009 at the Marquette General Hospital, Marquette, MI. Born: October 15, 1930 in Iron Mountain, MI. The son of the late Rudolph and Ethel (Cook) Youngberg attended the Iron Mountain schools and graduated. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Korean War stationed in Germany. He was employed as a factory worker for American Motors for over 30 years, retiring in 1987. Theodore was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church of Iron River and a member of the Chrysler Union. He enjoyed collecting stamps and coins, and watching wildlife, especially deer and bear. He also enjoyed watching PBS, Channel 13 on television. Ted was also preceded in death by a sister: Agnes LaHaie. He is survived by sons; Theodore and Quinn Youngberg, Iron River Daughter; Ronnie Ann (Richard) Junack, Iron River Brother; Michael (Susan) Youngberg, Iron Mountain, MI Three grandchildren and two great grandchildren He will be dearly missed by his longtime friends Joseph and Debra Nordstrom and family. Visitation: Tuesday, June 30, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River. Memorial Service: Tuesday, June 30, 3009 at 12:00 noon at the Jacobs Funeral Home with Rev.
