Thomas Warvi

Thomas R. Warvi Age 85 Iron Mountain, MIPassed away November 28, 2011 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls, MI. Born June 9, 1926 in Ironwood, MI The son of the late Isaac and Katri (Koski) Warvi attended the Ironwood Schools, graduating from Ironwood High School with the Class of 1946. He was employed by Abbott Labs of North Chicago prior to his retirement in 1986. Thomas was an active member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church of Wadsworth, IL. He enjoyed helping other people and loved playing cards. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Walford, Harold, Norman and Oiva and sisters Lilla Kaskala and Olive Liikanen He is survived by his sister, Ingrid Henriksen of Zion, IL and nephew, Russell (Alice) Henriksen of Iron River. Private family services will be held. Interment: Riverside Cemetery, Ironwood Funeral arrangements made by the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River.
