Michael “Todd” Ingram, age 58, of Caspian, MI, passed away at home, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, January 9, 2022. He was born in Kenosha, WI on June 14, 1963, to Beulah (Berlin) and the late Gerald Ingram. He attended West Iron County Public Schools. Todd married Paula (Jurecic) on October 13, 1984, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Gaastra, Michigan. The couple were married for 37 years and had two daughters, Ashley and Chelsea. He was employed by West Iron County Public Schools as a diesel bus mechanic, retiring after 25 years of service. Todd was a devoted husband and a dedicated, loving father and papa. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling, cutting the grass, and archery. He competed and won many archery competitions across the Upper Peninsula, including Freestyle Rookie of the Year in 2001. He taught hunter’s safety, which allowed him to share his love of the outdoors. In addition, Todd was a huge NASCAR fan who had a lifetime passion for cars and trucks. He was a member of Saint Cecilia Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion Reino Squadron 21, a lifetime member of the Michigan Education Association, and a former Gaastra City Commissioner. Todd is survived by his wife, Paula; daughters, Ashley (Troy) Schober of Gaastra, MI and Chelsea (Cory) Mitchell of Watertown, WI; grandchildren, Stella Schober and Cooper Mitchell; mother, Beulah Ingram of Iron River, MI; brother, Brian (Tina) Ingram of Iron River, MI; sister-in-law, Pam (Mike) Andrews of Midland, MI; brothers-in-law, Jay Jurecic of Crystal Falls, MI; Jeff (Laura) Jurecic of Fayetteville, GA; Jerry (Roberta) Jurecic of Gwinn, MI; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Walter and Lucy Ingram and Clyde and Caroline Berlin; his in-laws, Dolores and Gerald Jurecic. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, from 9:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Caspian with Fr. Jose Cherian to offer the Mass of Christian burial.
