Toni J. Goriesky

Toni J. Goriesky, age 67, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Aspirus Iron River Hospital.  She was born on December 8, 1951 in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of the late Lewis and Marilyn (Quayle) Goriesky.  She attended the Iron River Schools and graduated from West Iron County High School with the Class of 1970.  She then attended Michigan State University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts.  Toni has operated the Outpost for the last 33 years.  She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Iron River.  She enjoyed gardening and supplying her friends and family with many of her garden treats.  She was rarely without her dogs.  Toni is survived by her brother, Michael (Sandy) Goriesky of Iron River; nephews, Michael (Lisa) Goriesky, Nicholas Goriesky, Joseph (Erin) Goriesky, Joshua Goriesky and Jacob Goriesky, all of Iron River; nieces, Jocelyn Javorsoski and Ayla Mylchreest, both of Iron River; and friend, Richard Fedrizzi. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 11 am at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Rev. Gregory Veneklase to offer the Mass of Christian Burial.
