Turner Stapleton, age 92, of Alvin, WI, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at the Iron River Care Center. He was born on May 31, 1929, in Nelma, WI, the son of the late James and Lillie (Day) Stapleton. Turner was a US Army veteran. He was employed as a cement finisher for RJ Construction. Turner was a member of the Little White Church in Alvin. He loved his dogs and flower garden and being outdoors and enjoyed quilting, music, and dancing. Turner is survived by his brother, Arnold Stapleton; sister, Elsie Netherly; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Lawrence, John, Clay, Bobby, Ale, and Harley and sisters, Flossie Thompson, Etta May Stapleton, and Virgie Ingram. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 11:00am at the Little White Church in Alvin, WI with Pastor Della Rosenow to officiate. Interment will be in Lake View Cemetery, Alvin, WI.
