Verda A. Barnhart

Verda A. Barnhart, age 81 of Iron River, MI, died Saturday August 1, 2009 at her home. Born: October 11, 1927 in Butler, Ohio The daughter of the late Clarence and Gertrude (Waddell) Reeder attended the Ohio schools and graduated. She married Thomas Barnhart June 13, 1975 in Delaware County, Indiana. The couple moved to Iron River in 1979 to make their home. They celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary. Verda enjoyed craft work and crocheting. She was also preceded in death by her brother Herple Reeder and sister Hazel Reeder and great granddaughter Alison Lambert. Survived by her husband: Thomas daughters: Darla (Scott) Sprague, Iron River Jennie Lambert, Iron River Eleven grandchildren Fourteen great grandchildren Nephew; Phil Reeder, Niece Beckey Eicher Visitation: Thursday August 6, 2009 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River. Funeral Service: Friday August 7, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River with Rev. Tim Hall pastor of the Community Church of the Nazerene.
