Vicki L. Demboski

Vicki L. Demboski, age 74, of Bates Township, MI, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born March 6, 1946 in Stambaugh, MI, the daughter of Peter and Betty (Erickson) Povich. Vicki attended the Bates and Iron River Schools, graduating from Iron River High School with the Class of 1964. She was a US Army veteran. Vicki married Rick Demboski on April 13, 1979 in Iron River, MI. The couple celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in 2019. She was employed in the Collections Department at the Credit Union until her retirement. She was a former Lady Elks Auxiliary member and a past secretary of the VFW Ottawa Post #3134 Auxiliary. She enjoyed hunting, riding her trike, reading, and just being outdoors enjoying nature and watching the birds. Vicki is survived by her husband, Rick; sons, Peter (Sandy Georgeff) Demboski of Norway, MI and Ken (Lisa) Brown of Anderson, IN; brother, Peter M. (Tara) Povich of Aurora, WI; sister, Kay Ann (Cotty) Barrett of West Bend, WI; grandchildren, Kaden Demboski and Harley and Axel Brown; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2020 from 9:30am to 11:00am at Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 11am with Pastor Dawn Robbins to officiate.
