Virginia M. Masuga Age 88 Iron River, MI Died Friday, September 9, 2011 at Victorian Heights Assisted Living Housing, Crystal Falls, MI. Born: February 28, 1923 in Loretto, MI The daughter of the late William and Lydia (Berg) Parolari attended the Iron River Schools, graduating from Iron River High School. Virginia married Paul B. Masuga Jr. on April 19, 1941 at St. Agnes Catholic Church of Iron River and the couple were lifelong residents of the area. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in 2006. Paul preceded her in death on November 27, 2006. Virginia was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church of Iron River, St. Agnes Altar Society, St. Agnes Choir, Northland Choir, and the 20th Century Club. She enjoyed flowers, painting and decorating for Christmas and other holidays. She was also preceded in death by her infant brother Billy and sisters, Kathryn Fiorani, Joan LaBay and Lila Paque. She is survived by two sons, Michael (Carol) Masuga of Caspian, MI Paul (Marlene) Masuga of Hurley, WI One daughter, Mary Beth (Richard) Shamion of Iron River One sister, Patti (Marvin) Nygard of Austin, TX Nine grandchildren, Paul, Jason, Justin, Michael D., Heidi, Danny, Bruce, Jamie, and David Eleven great grandchildren, Jacob, Joseph, Olivia Rose, Jonah, Kaleb, Kristian, Hailey Beth, Mason, Zoe, Cole, and Lauren Grace Visitation: Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron River.
